The puzzles are good but but the app is terrible. Several times in different puzzles, my queen could easily be taken but would not let me move it. Except 2 or 3 moves later, I was not moving for check, I have no great advantage yet and my queen remained un supported. Terrible. Also, if I make an incorrect move and if I hit the u do button it takes me back to beginning of puzzle, instead of taking me back one move. Really annoying. The hint button does nothing.
There are problems in this app that I cannot understand the solution, when mine seems to be a better one. I'm better off learning with a full computerized chess board than learning with this app.
